CHRONICLES
Some people enjoy sitting in a tavern drinking a fresh mug of ale. Others enjoy adventuring into deep caverns and ancient dungeons for fame and fortune. Whatever your choice of action, it most likely will take place in a Chronicle. Chronicles are Estai's way of breaking the monotony of tavern chat and adding a massive storyline that affects the world of Estai itself. Whether it be some ancient evil or mad scientist, Estai requires both heroes and villains to decide the fate of Estai. During a Chronicle you may decide the threat needs to be destroyed, or maybe you think it's a great idea and stand behind it. Either way, the choice is yours. Once, the Chronicle is complete, the story continues by skipping ahead a random amount of time until the next Chronicle begins. All Chronicles will be listed here. The current Chronicle will always be listed in the Active Chronicle section, and previous Chronicles will be locate on the Previous Chronicles page.

Darkness Rising
A strange vortex cloud has blocked out the sky, leaving Estai in an eternal darkness. Alongside this strange phenomena comes a mysterious fog gracing the ends of the earth. Many lost civilizations such as the Katras from the jungle rich continent of Matazwa and the enigmatic Androids from the ruins of Sharcozia have decided to investigate these strange events. Reports of a strange horned mage named Arkhin-Zayne flood the streets of cities both far and wide. It seems the mage seeks brave warriors and has attacked many cities, destroying historically significant structures but leaving no sign of theft. Arkhin-Zayne is wanted all across Estai and has been deemed kill on site. Those that bring back Zayne's head will be rewarded handsomely for their service.
